ARTICLE - LOWER HOUSE COMMISSION - TUESDAY?

CREATION OF THE SPECIAL COMMISSION OF THE LOWER HOUSE THIS TUESDAY?
(Haiti Libre) -

8 days after the ratification meeting in the Senate of the Prime Minister-designate, Laurent Lamothe, the Lower House should establish this Tuesday, a special Commission to review the documents of the candidate for the Primature, which would finally launch the second stage of the ratification.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister-designate, is multiplying the meetings with the political blocs and deputies, to try to reach a majority of votes in his favor. Essentially, at these meetings the deputies discuss..... the eligibility of the Prime Minister-designate and the compliance with the prescribed of the Constitution [Section 157], the country situation, and the interests of each constituency.

Beyond political differences, which are expressed in the lower house, almost all deputies cast doubt on the rumors that suggest that the Senators would have received money in exchange for their vote...

However, Deputy Acklush Louis Jeune, does not share the opinion of the majority; instead, claiming that there has been political and financial "deals" between the Executive and his colleagues of the Senate to obtain votes in favor for Laurent Lamothe. Furthermore, he deplores the show given by his colleague Senators at the ratification meeting, and hopes that the deputies will have a better behavior in the House.
