ARTICLE - DEP. SEJOUR REJECTS ACCUSATIONS

RODRIGUEZ SEJOUR REJECTS THE ACCUSATIONS MADE AGAINST HIM

Several personalities are requesting the opening of an investigation in order to bring light on the circumstances in the death of the police officer Walky Calixte in Martissant. Police officers of the Road Police Management (DPR) indicate that their colleague was killed by gangsters from Grand Ravine, who regained their bases after their actions.

They are accusing Deputy Rodriguez Sejour and his bodyguard of being involved with these characters. Deputy Sejour denies any implication in the assassination of the police officer. He ensures that as a peaceful citizen, would he mingled with such behaviors.

Colleagues of the member of Parliament also defended him the deputy. Several of them had come to show their solidarity with the elected official of the 3rd district of Port-au-Prince when he went to the radio station, Radio Caraibes.

For his part, Deputy A. Rodon Bien Aime exhorts the police and judicial authorities to open an investigation in order to shed light onto the crime. He deplores the reaction of the police officers, and says that he is worried about the future of Haitian democracy.

The police officers cannot take revenge be avenged or render justice stated Deputy Bien Aime in reaction to the intervention of police officers at the Radio Caraibe radio station. Qualifying the situation as very serious, Mr. Bien Aime exhorts the authorities to restore order.
