ARTICLE - LAMOTHE - NO DOCS FILED YET

LAURENT LAMOTHE WAS UNABLE TO FILE HIS DOCUMENTS
(Haiti Libre) -

Contrary to what had been planned by the office of the Chamber of Deputies, the Prime Minister-designate, Laurent Lamothe was unable to sumbit his documents Thursday to the Special Commission responsible to analyze them; due to the lack of an official notification. "Contrary to what is said here and there, I still have not received the invitation to file my documents at the Chamber of Deputies [...] I am ready to 'appear' before the Commission [..., As soon as I receive the invitation, I will go to the House..." indicated Laurent Lamothe.

Levaillant Louis Jeune, President of the Chamber of Deputies explained, that "in the Conference of Presidents, unanimously we decided that until we meet the other branches of government to take stock of the armed men who came before the parliament and with the situation of Deputy Rodriguez, who failed yesterday, to be a victim of some mutinous policemen, we should receive the record of the Prime Minister-designate on Monday morning at 10am. This afternoon we will send him a letter to formally notify him.

The Commission will immediately begin to work on Monday afternoon at 3pm [...] At the Parliament level, we would like that things go quickly, so that the House can decide, in the shortest time, and that the country, knows the fate of the Prime Minister-designate..."
