THE ADMINISTRATION OF COLLEGE HARRY BREAKMAN DESTROYED BY FIRE
(Haiti Libre) -

A fire ravaged the adminsitration of College Harry Breakman of the Methodist church of Petit-Goâve this Friday, April 6, 2012 at about 8pm. Significant damage was recorded: books, notebooks, birth certificates of children, records, briefs of all the college archives went up in smoke.

Without the intervention of residents of avenue La Hatte, other citizens and revelers of "Grap kenep" a rara band well known in the city passing by at the time of the incident, all the building of College Harry Breakman would have been completely destroyed by fire.

According to Mr. Arentz Mars, the Judge of Peace of Petit-Goâve, criminal hands would be behind the fire. "We found some matches on the east side of the Adminsitration of the institution near a window. There was no problem of electricity because the electricity worked very well as usual."

Mr. Monice, a member of the Board, who could not restrain her tears declared; "this act really hurt us, we deplore it. All records of the institution from 1994 to today have been burned... Only the Ministry of Education can put at our disposal, the records of former students of College Breakman Harry."
