OFFICIAL INSTALLATION OF THE PRIME MINISTER CONILLE THIS TUESDAY
(Haiti Libre) -
It took a lot of energy for the Prime Minister, Dr. Garry Conille and members of the ministerial cabinet to cross the stage of the general policy statement; but, it will take still more to achieve the stated objectives, according to the Chief of the new government, who will officially take office this Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at a ceremony at the National Palace at 4pm.
"The Prime Minister and his team intend to act in all humility by having a strong sense of responsibility,.... so that in a reasonable time, the state public servants take into account the real needs of the population. The slogan of the general policy of the Prime Minister is the famous phrase: 'Pèp la pa ka tann ankò'(The people can't wait anymore). This one, said the Prime Minister, is not just a simple slogan, but a cry from the deep bowels of the sons and daughters of the country whose echos tend to be muted by the rest of the world",... we read in an statement from the office of communications of the Prime Minister.
At the head of a team composed of compatriots, the Prime Minister launches himself to the assault of an ambitious dream for Haiti: change, advocated by President Martelly and the desires with all their heart the Haitians from home and abroad... "That we can convince everybody that in Haiti there is only one family, who is called the 'Haïtianité' where 'zafè kabrit vin zafè bèf, zafè mouton tou' (the affairs of the goat becomes the affairs of the steer and the affairs of the sheep too", all combined in a single dense and compact herd, animated by the same desires and aspirations for the welfare and which, under the leadership of conscientious shepherds, takes the road towards fresh and rich pastures of the
future", wrote the Prime Minister in his general policy document.
