Today was a special day for some members of Pastor Pierre's church, which is in the Kenscoff area. They are attending a 3 day seminar held at the Christian Reformed Church missions center in the Tabarre area of Port-au-Prince.
I have known Pastor Pierre for almost as long as I have been in Haiti. He has a mentally handicapped son who has seizures. He is a kind hearted man who loves God and lives out his faith in helping others and preaching God's love for us. The first group of people he attended with are members of his church. They in turn will meet with other church groups and in a way form of network in support and community.
