NEXT ELECTIONS, NOT BEFORE 2012

If we stick to the Constitution, there remains a little more than two weeks to organize the upcoming partial senatorial elections [renewal of the third of the Senate] and for the municipal elections.
Pierre Louis Opont, Director General of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) explained that "The elections are not possible for the end of this year given the duration of the preparation process. The political and technical conditions are not met", noting that no presidential decree convoking the people to the polls has been published and the establishment of the electoral machine can not be done in less than four months.
