ATTACK ON A SCHOOL BUS TO LIMANDE

President Michel Martelly was shocked to learn that offenders have attacked with stones, at Limonade (North) last Friday, a bus from the Dignité company, breaking its windshield and injuring students inside.

Meanwhile, at Marmelade, verbal threats have been proffered to schoolchildren and bus drivers of the same company.

... "The President is outraged to hear of such unhealthy behaviors, whose purpose is to paralyze the education program and free transportation. The Head of State provides the guarantee that all arrangements are being taken to locate the perpetrators of these crimes, and to judge and punish them according to the law.

While speaking of the free school transport throughout the national territory, President Martelly reiterated his determination to make every effort to facilitate access to an education for all children in Haiti during his tenure."
