Pastor Pierre came to the house with this man from the mountain area of Kenscoff. He has a growth under his chin. We brought him over to the Bernard Mevs/Project Medishare Hospital and it looks like they will be doing surgery. They ordered some preliminary blood tests. Pray that they will be able to help him.
At the end of May this boy had a cyst removed from his back by the medical team that held a clinic here at Coram Deo.
The boy is all healed now. He lives with his mother in a tarp home near the street. His mother is happy that the surgery helped him.
When people search out medical care they sometimes use the most convenient transportation available which in some cases is a wheelbarrow. This woman was seriously burned when a pot of boiling bean sauce fell over her. People brought her to Coram Deo in a wheelbarrow and we then transported her to the Medecins Sans Frontieres Hospital on Delmas 31.
Accidents happen all the time. This accident happened on the Delmas 31 hill this week. The tap-tap's brakes didn't work and the vehicle hit a pedestrian. The pedestrian was killed. 2 other passengers in the tap-tap were injured when the tap-tap hit the hydro pole. We brought them to the hospital for medical treatment.
