A bamboo stalk was cut down for Tim to inspect and measure.

Here is a forest of bamboo!

This particular variety of bamboo is used here in Haiti for scaffolding and rigging. Bamboo is strong.

When people think of Haiti they think of garbage, slums and poverty but you can also see how it used to be the "Pearl of the Antilles".

With development and improvement Haiti can change its' image. Pray for the efforts of organizations like ORE who are working to help the rural areas of Haiti develop.
