DECREE NAMING LAURENT SALVADOR LAMOTHE PRIME MINISTER
(Haiti Libre) -

Following the favorable vote [62 votes for, 3 against and 2 abstentions] for the choice of the Prime Minister-designate, Mr. Laurent Lamothe; last night at the Chamber of Deputies, the President of the Republic, Michel Martelly, signed the decree naming the Citizen Laurent Salvador Lamothe as Prime Minister.

"Given the articles 133, 136, 137, 155, 157, 159, 160 and 163 of the Constitution ;

Given the ratification on April 10 and May 3, 2012 respectively by the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies, of the choice of the President of the Republic, Mr. Monsieur Laurent Salvador LAMOTHE as Prime Minister, in accordance with the Constitution ;

Article 1.- The Citizen Laurent Salvador LAMOTHE is named Prime Minister.

Article 2.- A certified copy of this Decree will be handed to interested parties.

Article 3.- This Decree will be printed, published and executed for legal purposes.
