LAURENT LAMOTHE CONGRATULATES AND THANKS THE PARLIAMENTARIANS

Laurent Lamothe, the Prime Minister ratified by the Chamber of Deputies in this historic evening of May 3, 2012, wishes on behalf of the Haitian people and on his own behalf, to thank the patriotic and democratic vote, granted by the honorable deputies, to the Report that the commission appointed for this purpose, and that was submitted to their discretion.
The Prime Minister reiterates once again, his availability to work with all forces of the nation to provide concrete and immediate answers to urgent problems that exist in the country. He also hopes that this process started in favor of the democracy and welfare of the Haitian people, comes to its end with the immediate presentation of the General Policy Statement in accordance with what is prescribed in the Constitution.
In this sense, he reiterates his determination to continue alongside the forces of the nation and of Parliament to work towards the collective interest and for ideals of social change shared by all Haitians, in order to achieve the reconstruction and modernization of our country.
The transfer of power between the Prime Minister, Dr. Garry Conille and Laurent Lamothe will take place this Friday, May 4, 2012.
