photos - various - part 4

It is nice to hear the sound of running water at this small waterfall.

This is the Scheele family. Jantje, her daughter Kim and niece Janelle. We give the Lord thanks for people who come to Haiti to help out.

Yesterday, a young couple came with their daughter, Beverly Louis. She is 2 months old and has a congenital malformation. She has no anus and passes stool from her vagina.

We brought her to the University of Miami/Project Medishare tent hospital on the grounds of the airport. Once we cleared the security gate by the road we stopped at the mango tree where a triage/clinic was set up. Beverly was seen by a couple of surgeons and may be able to receive a surgery. They will contact us after having a staff meeting. Pray that they can help her.

I am glad they set up a triage station. Before it was these guards deciding who would get access to care. It was frustrating dealing with them.
