This girl is giving me the "Why are you taking my picture look?"
Myrlande Pierre is a 14-year-old girl who lives in the Soleil 17 area of Cite Soleil. After the earthquake her mother sent her out to the province, where she broke her arm. The arm was never properly set and she wasn't able to bend it.
We brought her to the Merlin Hospital on Delmas 33 and she was then sent to the Medecins Sans Frontieres Hospital on Delmas 31. She had an operation last week to properly align her arm bones. Pray that she will have a more usable left arm as a result. Thank you Medecins Sans Frontieres!
Friday the medical team came over to hold a clinic here at Coram Deo. They saw around 100 patients.
The medical providers were kept busy throughout the day.
