In the area around the village there is lots of scrub brush and cactus.
No crops grow in this area. What a beautiful view of the mountains in the distance.
While we were at the University of Miami/Project Medishare Hospital we noticed a Shelterbox vehicle drive by. I asked the guard where they were based and found it next to the hospital. This organization is helping in the relief effort by helping to provide tents for the refuge camps and also mission workers!
May 5th was a friendly match between Argentina and Haiti. The Haitian soccer program is continuing. Haiti's number one sport is soccer. Argentina won the match 4-0.
