In the Petionville streets around the public park a large youth group was holding a Flag Day march.
Even young children participated. It was great to see! They were enjoying themselves.
They did some movement routines and then marched around the park.
This man was encouraging them on.
The group headed off under the watchful eye of the UN. There were protests on the streets in front of the National Palace on Monday and the police/UN were prepared if more protests were held on Tuesday but it was good to see celebrations for Flag Day instead.
