photos - various - part 3

The lady with the newborn baby needed some more blocks to form a base to lift the bottom of the tent off the ground. Everybody chipped in to help unload the blocks.

This young mother is proud of this tent.

The tent a couple of rows over is a French Red Cross tent.

These children in the Delmas 31 soccer field refuge were happy to see us when we walked past them.

Calens is the blind student who is part of our program here at Coram Deo. We were worried that his mother abandoned him this week as she never came to pick him up after school. Finally on Saturday his older brother came for him. We drove him him and I talked with his mother. She doesn't have money to get a tap-tap every day from where she is, which is Puit Blain in the Delmas 75 area. We told her he can stay here during the week but needs to be with his family for the weekend. At least we now know where he lives! Pray for Calens mother. She works hard to provide for her family.
