Mission of T.E.A.R.S made a visit to Haiti this weekend. We spent some time showing the visitors what is going on here in Haiti. Also with the Misison of Tears team were Jerry and Curtis from Sudbury. They were responsible for organizing a fundraising drive for Mission of T.E.A.R.S for the earthquake relief effort. It was amazing the support generated from the people of Sudbury!
Some of these funds were presented to Sherri Fausey of Christian Light Ministries for construction of her school.
A plaque from Sudbury will be place on the school to remember Sudbury's contribution. Pray for the continued construction of the Christian Light School and for Sherri's efforts here in Haiti. It's great to see people get help!
A businessman who owns a school supply business donated this large telescope. James Wanders and Manu put it together.
It has been rainy and cloudy recently but we gave it a try last night and could see the moon. The telescope shows the craters in the moon and according to Benson "6 people were walking on the moon"! Johnny took a look after to see for himself and replied "I don't see any people"!
