We talked with the worker at CMMB and Luciano may get an artificial arm! Pray for the work of all missions working to help the many amputees here in Haiti.
While we were at the University of Miami/Project Medishare Hospital we saw one of the babies that were operated in November. She looks good! The family traveled from Miragoane on Friday and for the hydrocephalus assessments which will be held at the hospital on Saturday morning. Pray that lots of children will be seen. The surgeries will be held on May 29th. It's my birthday that day. What a great birthday gift to see these children get help!
The family has friends living in the Delmas 28 area of the city. We dropped them off there.
A couple of months ago this woman suffered serious burns to her back after her tent caught fire. She received excellent care at the Medecins Sans Frontieres Hospital on Delmas 31.
Her back is healed! When we visited her she was combing the hair of the elderly lady sitting behind her in this photo.
