The children were hungry for sugar cane and the visitors wanted to taste some too. Paulna and the other children went to the cane field.
They enthusiastically were breaking cane stalks. Benson is inspecting his. We stopped when Paulna announced that she didn't know who owned this patch of sugar cane and we hurried up and left.
This young boy doesn't like me. He spends part of the day with his grandmother out front of our house. When I drive up he hides his face. He wouldn't open his eyes for the picture. Maybe one day he will get used to the "blanc".
An evangelical crusade was on when we passed the Henfrasa refuge camp. People were sitting through the playground area listening to the preacher (a Pastor Wallace from the United States)
These children were enjoying the playground equipment at the Henfrasa playground.
