ARTICLE - 44 HAITIANS REPATRIATED

65 ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS REPATRIATED
(Nassau Guardian) -

The Department of Immigration repatriated 65 illegal immigrants over the past several days, said Director of Immigration Jack Thompson in a statement released yesterday.

Thompson said that six men, one woman and two children were repatriated to Havana, Cuba by plane last Thursday.

Thompson said on that same day, six men were repatriated to China. He added that a woman was repatriated to Guyana last Friday.

Thompson said that 49 people were repatriated to Haiti yesterday. Forty-four of the people repatriated to Haiti were sent to Port-au-Prince by plane.

The other five people were sent to Cape Haitien, said Thompson.
