SENATORS EXIUS, HYPPOLITE WANT MORE GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS TO DISMISS
(Defend Haiti) - By Jonel Juste

PORT-AU-PRINCE - The Minister of Justice Josue Pierre-Louis and the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Pierre Michel Brunache, are not solely responsible for the arrest of Deputy Arnel Bélizaire (Delmas & Tabarre/Veye-Yo), according to Senators Pierre Francky Exius (Sud/Inite) and Mélius Hyppolite (Nord-Ouest/Alternative) who are calling other government officials to dismiss.

16 Senators voted last weekend for a resolution of questioning for the Minister of Justice Josue Pierre-Louis and the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Pierre Michel Brunache, while 71 deputies have also required the dismissal of the Interior Minister, Thierry Mayard Paul, the director of Port-au-Prince airport and the Attorney General Félix Léger.

Parliamentarians Exius and Hyppolite, who were outside of the country last week, stated that the Senate must go in the same direction that the MPs and not only question the Justice Minister and the Secretary of state for foreign affairs.
