The protesters reached the palace area and then stopped; their objective achieved.
The riot police stood back and let them stay on the street.
It was a peaceful protest. People were giving interviews to journalists explaining why they took part in the protests.
This float followed the crowd to the palace. This man was giving a speech using a microphone to be heard.
We saw a "blanc" taking our picture and I took one of him too!
