photos - marlene's team - part 16

I couldn't believe seeing a grocery store like this in Haiti. They have everything available! This is no big deal for people in Canada or the U.S. but this is special for Haiti. There was even gouda cheese from Holland! We were taking pictures through the grocery store. I spoke with the Philipino man, Willy, who is responsible for the market. He didn't mind the silly blanc taking pictures in his store.

.... and a few other dutch treats like pumpernickel bread, windmill cookies from Voortman and Peperkoek. I took this photo to prove it! The sad thing is that the average Haitian would not be able to buy these things in Giant Market. Pray that the Haitian economy improves in a way that everyone can buy at Giant Market.

The Angels for Haiti team were the team that put the finishing touches to organizing the living room/pharmacy. We have a lot more medical supplies that we can use, so the team organized some care packages for a couple of clinics who work with the poor. This is a before shot.

And this is an after photo!

We needed to build a few more storage and book shelves and had a lot of helping hands to cut boards and pieces of boards to measure.
