This part of the canal was part of a canal building project. Planks across the walls form walkways to people's homes. Hopefully one day the canal walls can be built up again to eliminate flooding from the neighborhood during heavy rains.
People along the canal have formed tarp shelters to house themselves in.
We were driving down airport road one day and I slammed on the brakes to stop and look at these model homes. We got out to look. These houses sure look nice!
An american company is setting up a factory to build these model homes. They are sturdy and well constructed and each model show home is a different size.
