We wanted to get close to the port. The last time I was at the port the American navy was repairing the broken docks. It is good to see that the cranes are standing tall and offloading cargo.
This container ship belongs to Paul Rickmers. It is amazing to see these ocean vessels. They are huge!
Haiti relies on imports and the port is a busy place.
To get access to the docks we needed to go out to the road and in the gate at the port. We turned around to head back to our vehicle.
Marlene tried to see about getting a ride in the tank but the commander wouldn't authorize it. Maybe next time!
