Angels for Haiti is fundraising for the rebuilding of Yonel's home. Reconstruction began this week. The first step is building a new foundation and walling part of the canal.
We made a visit to the Giant Market in Petionville with the visitors. This market opened up after the earthquake, which means the building is strong as it withstood the earthquake well.
We went inside and toured the store. It has 2 floors. To get to the 2nd floor you take an elevator with your cart. We didn't want to be enclosed in an elevator. We took the stairs instead... because it is much safer I think! We took a group photo in the household section on the 2nd floor.
