Oct. 10/14 - Emergency Errand

We had a fun emergency errand today :) A 17-year-old girl was in labour at Hopital La Paix since this morning and not getting any medical care. We picked her up from the hospital and drove her to Chancerelles (the baby factory/hospital :) We took our newer Kimosabe #2. When the girl got into the vehicle I asked her if her water had broken yet and she said no. I prayed it wouldn't happen in the truck and was worried that maybe we should have brought our older Kimosabe #1. Her contractions were every couple of minutes. We took the less bumpy route to the hospital so her baby wouldn't pop out and at the intersection of Airport Rd/Piste we asked a policeman to stop traffic and let us through. He graciously did this and we arrived at Chancerelles with the girl and family and a clean truck too :) After 1 1/2 hours she now has a baby girl! She came to the clinic to see Ken a few times during her pregnancy. Ken and Milo are at the hospital waiting to see the baby. We give the Lord thanks for a successful delivery and that the baby wasn't born in Kimosabee :)
