photos - visitors - part 1

We have been on a quest the last month to find help for Rudy Clauderre, a 15-year-old boy with what we think is some form of lymphoma cancer. His problems started in 2009. We have gone to different contacts in our quest. We went out to Fond Parisien the other week and the American doctors there sent him by ambulance over the Dominican border to Jimani. Dominican doctors said that they couldn't help him and he was then sent by ambulance back to Port-au-Prince to Hopital La Paix. He was then referred to Hopital Nos Petits Freres et Soeurs. They couldn't help him either. Chris is a paramedic and he did an assessment of him yesterday evening.

Today we decided to give the field hospital of the University of Miami a try and Chris was willing to stay with the family while he was examined.

They would like to help him and admitted him to the pediatrics unit. It is possible that he and another child with leukemia will be sent to the United States to a cancer hospital. The family was asked to bring his birth certificate. Pray that this is an open door for Rudy.

The pediatrics ward is a very busy place.

The hospital is very efficient. This is the pharmacy.
