photos - life goes on - part 5

In the village of Bonnette, where Paulna's family lives the huts are mostly of stick and mud. During the earthquake the mud was shaken off the walls but the houses stood strong!

All the buildings had the mud shaken off.

The children are doing well after the earthquake. Life is easier for them than it is for the children on the streets of Port-au-Prince.

It is women's work for plastering walls with mud. This mother is working on putting a coat of mud on her home.

Paulna's brother Paulno is holding on to a cousin. Many people in the village are relatives.
