photos - tanya's visit - part 3

The village of Bonnette is a dusty, arid village where a lot of thorn bushes and cactus grows. The people rely on agriculture to survive. This man is heading out with some cattle.

We passed the "hougan's" house which has a thorn bush fence surrounding it.

This chair and voudoo charms were hanging from a voudou cross.

The donkey is a beast of burden for the people living in the village.

The children walked with us past the "spirit house".
