photos - visitors - part 1

Things have been very busy here and I am behind on my postings of photos. The "busyness" here though was helped by the presence of a team composed of my sister Michelle, cousin Jeff, his son Alex and his friend Nathan and Rachel. We picked them up at the airport and packed up Kimosabee!

Jeff made a contact with the Chatham Youth Soccer Association. At the end of the soccer season the players donate their uniforms, shoes and equipment. This gets sent to Haiti. The visitors had fun matching up the soccer cleats!

After everything was organized everything was packed up again and we traveled out to the soccer fields near Cite Soleil where the L'Atletique d'Haiti organization is located.

Bobby Duval is a haitian-american who started this organization with the objective of providing a place for the poor children from the slums a place to play soccer. There are a couple thousand youth who descend on the fields to play at different times of the day. He also provides education for those who can't attend school.

While we waited for Bobby to arrive the visitors attracted quite a bit of attention from the children.
