We weren't sure how bad Hurricane Tomas would be but the morning of the day it was supposed to start causing problems for Haiti we decided it was still alright to go into Cite Soleil to hold a clinic. The people were appreciative that we came. This is a view of the main road inside Cite Soleil. Most traffic is pedestrian or tap-taps/motorcycles.
The clinic was held in Pastor Enoch's church. We have held several clinics there already over the years. The interpretors who did the translating were all teachers from Sherri Fausey's school, Christian Light Ministries. The teachers do a great job of translating.
Dr. Reuben is helping this elderly man with his medical problems.
After receiving his medicines from the pharmacy station he headed home.
Cite Soleil is a large, dense poor area of Port-au-Prince. Many people living there can't afford medical care.
