This is Dr. Reuben's first visit to Haiti. He enjoyed working here in Haiti and was able to see the need for medical care. He might make another visit back to Haiti and encourage other doctors to come as well!
One of the clinic days there was a motorcycle accident in front of our house. A man wiped out and cut his leg pretty good. Dr Karen and Cindy did some sewing to help put him back together again!
He left our yard on foot after he was all patched up. No sign of his motorcycle though!
The team came with a lot of pharmacy supplies for the clinics. They also were prepared to receive cholera cases.
Sony is a young adult who we are helping to pay for secondary school this year. He is in his 3rd year of secondary school. The guys always give a lending hand in setting up and assisting at the clinics. They like to see the community receiving medical care.
