ELECTIONS: LIST OF INSTRUCTIONS AND PROHITIONS FOR ELECTIONS

Due to the elections, the Haitian National Police (PNH) has adopted a number of dispositions and prohibitions in order to make safer the elections of Sunday, November 28, 2010.
From Saturday 8pm until Monday 8am:
It is forbidden to drive a motorcycle in Port-au-Prince
Vehicles can circulate, but all vehicles will be prohibited within 150 meters of a polling center
No vehicles will be allowed to move from one department to another
Nightclubs will remain closed
The sale of alcohol will be prohibited
The sale of gasoline in containers will be banned
From Saturday 8pm until Wednesday 8am:
All permits to carry firearms will be suspended
The polls will be open Sunday, November 28, 2010 from 6am until 4pm, well before nightfall.
