A lot of people died or were injured in the earthquake. Rudy's family sought refuge in our yard after the earthquake. The earthquake turned out to be the first step in the path to obtain medical treatment for his Burkitt's Lymphoma. We searched for medical care with different medical teams/hospitals that were here in Haiti after the earthquake until finally a door came open for Rudy at the University of Miami/Project Medishare Hospital that was set up on the grounds of the airport. God's providential hand in using different people can be seen in Rudy's path to getting treatment. The following video shows the people who made his treatment possible.
