photos - various - part 1

Several years ago Solyvien Favra had a fracture that was never set and this resulted in a deformity for him.

He basically walked on the top of his foot and couldn't wear shoes. He wore sandals. Angel Missions found medical care for him in Virginia and he received 2 orthopedic surgeries to correct the deformity.

He just came back to Haiti and now stands straight on 2 solid feet! His proud father is standing beside him. Solyvien now speaks english.

You can hardly tell that he walked on the top of his feet. We give the Lord thanks for His healing mercies and for those who helped Solyvien get the opportunity to walk normally once again. The next step is to get him registered in school!

Schools re-opened across the city. Some schools had more students than others and some schools didn't open at all due to damage and destruction of the schools. The school pictured above did not have many students but it is functioning. It is estimated that 1,300 teachers and 37,000 students died during the earthquake. Pray for the efforts being made to continue the school year.

What a fantastic story. I'm glad you were able to show before and after pictures. And the stories from the States. Thank God that he needed so few operations!
