Herold is our new teacher for the handicapped class. He is a good replacement for Jackenmy.
We are at about a 50% attendance rate. Some children went out to the countryside after the earthquake.
The children enjoy being in school again. It is good to have the structure of going to school in their lives again.
It is a break from living in the refuge camps. The children are relaxed in the yard. It is nice to hear their laughter during recess and at lunch time when they eat a meal.
The government is going to extend the end of the school year. Schools will be open to mid-August.
