Across the street from the palace in a public park is this tent city. People have set up various types of shelters. This is one of the areas that the government wants to see cleaned out. There are around 15,000 people living in the Champs Mars public park areas. First priority though is to transfer out people living in refuge camps susceptible to flooding and landslides.
A large tent city is set up in the Delmas 33 area in this open space area.
This will be home to people for awhile.
Coram Deo is a busy place and also a place for recreation. After a busy clinic day Dr. Karen used the kitchen door frame for some chin-ups!
Johnny was impressed and wanted to join in the fun too!
