photos - st. louis refuge camp - part 5

Save the Children has a children's recreational area in the camp. These children are enjoying themselves!

In another area of the camp is an area set up for children offering music. These foreign musicians are entertaining this group of children.

The children joined in playing "kazoos". It is good that the children can do some fun and game activities and to get away from the difficulties of living in a refuge camp.

The St. Louis School located on the grounds suffered damage during the earthquake. Here is an open area of what used to be one of the school buildings.

Because of the damage to the buildings classes have resumed under large portable tents for the students of the privately run St. Louis de Gonzague school. The area is fenced off and separated from the refuge camp.
