This young girl is now head of her family. Both parents died in the earthquake. She is responsible for her 2 younger brothers and sisters. She came by the house to ask for some food.We gave her some Feed My Starving Children Manna packs.
On Wednesday morning we went to the Maranatha church inside Cite Soleil to hold a medical clinic. Around 275 people were seen during the clinic day.
Here is the consultation stations that were set up at the front of the church.
The doctors were kept busy the entire day.
This pregnant mother also has a handicapped girl. Several of the handicapped children that were seen have seizures and none of them are on medications to control them. It is difficult here in Haiti for parents to care for handicapped children.
