I like this poster that was put up on Airport Rd. It is a child rights poster about protecting children from violence and abuse. There is a 511 hotline to report these cases.
The hydrocephalus surgeries are over. It was so good to see all the children in the hospital get their surgeries.
Three of the children operated on were born with spina bifida. This baby had the spina bifida sealed on her back as well as a hydrocephalus surgery.
This cute baby is less than one month old. She has spina bifida, and had the back and hydrocephalus surgery to install a shunt. It use to be that we had to find neurosurgeons in the United States to do them. Now the neurosurgeons come here to Haiti. This young baby has an excellent prognosis. Everything was done at such an early age. Keep praying for the development of the hydrocephalus program in Haiti.
