photos - various - part 2

Thames Valley Children's Centre is a special place for children with disabilities. Tanya took several photos of posters on the walls there. This one says, " Beyond Disability", "Building Independance with Strength and Determination"

It sure would be fun seeing John ice skating on one of these sleds and playing sled hockey! Maybe one day it will happen!

This poster says "Determined to go the Distance". Pray for all the handicapped here in Haiti; that they have strength and determination to overcome all the obstacles they face here in Haiti both from the society and the environment. Pray for more organizations to be set up to handle the many handicapped people living here in Haiti.

This boy is Kingwood Lubin. He is 9-years-old and has hydrocephalus. Remarkably he has never had surgery for his hydrocephalus and is walking, talking, and going to school. He has one side that is weak.

We will be adding his name to the list of hydrocephalus children for the next assessments, hopefully sometime in April or May.
