photos - various - part 3

Roseanne makes a living selling souvenirs that have been created by a group of people from Cite Soleil. Whenever we have visitors I let Roseanne know and give her the opportunity to show the visitors how artistic the Haitian people are.

She sometimes brings people here who have problems and hopes that by doing this she can find help for them. As there are a lot of earthquake orphans there are now also a lot of "cholera orphans". This baby lost her mother a couple of months ago to cholera and her father is struggling to provide for her.

He doesn't have the money to be able to buy infant formula which is expensive. With the donations of formula that Tanya and the Angels for Haiti team, we are able to help this father provide infant formula through the "baby stage".

Bernard Mevs/Project Medishare continue to provide much needed emergency care. We brought this elderly man to the hospital to insert a catheter when he could not pass urine. He was much relieved after this was done. The hospital staff helped him quickly. Pray that this vital program continues to receive funding for providing emergency care to the citizens of Port-au-Prince.

Jeff Van Berkel recently made a visit here. He and his wife adopted Grace Hope, the baby that was abandoned because she had clubbed feet a couple of years ago in our neighborhood. She is doing well with her new family in Michigan!
