photos - election - 2nd round - part 2

The Building 2004 voting was a disaster in the 1st round. The place was ransacked and the ballots were dumped. For the second round there was a heavy UN presence to keep an eye on the place.

This UN policeman, I think is from Senegal. He was keeping an eye out to make sure that people weren't stuffing the ballot boxes.

The Building 2004 site is surrounded by a refuge camp. This UN policeman is walking along the edge of the camp.

This UN tank was parked near a voting site in the Petionville area.

Women and men Haitian police handled crowd control well at the voting center by the Lycee in Petionville.
