My nephew John is growing up! He started high school this year and is in a special ed class. He is a real charmer and enjoys to joke around with people. My sister Tanya has in the past year brought him to the Shriners Hospital in Montreal for surgery and follow-up on his clubbed feet caused by his hydrocephalus. He now is more mobile and using his legs.
This is Dr. Beneroch, an orthopedic surgeon who is standing alongside John at the hospital in Montreal.
John recently went with Tanya to the Thames Valley Children's Centre to look at bicycles! There were different types of models to choose from.
Here John is trying out the "low-rider" model.
This is a more standard model. Look out neighborhood! Once John gets rolling there will be no stopping him!
