On Sunday afternoon we headed up the Mayor's Rd. between Delmas 31 and Delmas 33 to check out the Carnival festivities. The music was playing from loudspeakers but there were not many people there.
Traffic was blocked by parked motorcycles and vehicles intentionally placed along the road.
A wooden platform had been constructed during the week to accommodate the large speakers.
This woman I think loves Carnival :) She was the only one dancing to the music playing from the speakers.
Notice the large step one of the people on the sidewalk is taking. It sort of looks funny. She is also carrying a chair while performing this move :)
