This is what happens when you don't obey the speed limit..... you fall off the mountainside. What saved this truck was a tree that the wheel lodged itself against.
This empty space with the chain link fence around it is Place St. Pierre. It is the town square of Petionville, which is no longer used as a refuge camp. The mayor gave funding to the people to find rental housing.
An interesting wayof using this tree to show different types of clay pots available for sale.
The tap-tap on the right hand side says "Tout a Jesus", translated as "all for Jesus"
This is a view of Rue Panamerican as we headed down the hill.
