Yesterday we almost traveled in a tap-tap like this heading up the mountain to Fermathe, but Ysmaille saved the day and transported us in his vehicle. As you can see, the tap-taps are packed to overflowing :)
Roads in Haiti are either good or bad. We stayed on the road to the left which is paved. This other road to the right is not the best of roads :)
There are sand/limestone quarries in the mountains. The quarry in the background hasn't been used but the mark remains.
One artist carved a face in the rock near one business.
As we neared Fort Jacques we passed beautiful views of mountains.
