Jacob - Update - March 19, 2015

Jacob is doing poorly. He is not fighting off his infection and malnutrition state. The skin is peeling off his body. It is sad to see him like this. It seems like no matter what the doctors/nurses do for him that nothing works. Please keep Jacob in prayer, along with his family. I wish they hadn't have waited so long to seek out care for him. His grandmother never leaves his bedside. She sits on a chair night and day by his crib. Today we saw a young man arrive at Hopital La... Paix. Literally half of his body was ripped off due to an accident. He was conscious and laying in the back of a pickup truck. A truck couldn't stop and ran into him. His left side - pelvis, hip leg was sheared off with the impact. They brought the man into the hospital on a board. The doctors in the emergency room said that there was nothing they could do for him and told the person who transported him to take him to Medecins Sans Frontieres. I don't know how the man could have still be alive, coherent, and talking. Please keep this man in prayer as well.
